Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning approval of a contract with the Tennessee Fair Housing Council to provide fair housing education and outreach programs as part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
Background
This agreement facilitates reimbursement of the Tennessee Fair Housing Council up to Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Five and 61/100 Dollars ($19,485.61) for costs incurred in the conduct of Fair Housing Education and Outreach activities in support of the City of Franklin’s participation in the CDBG program.
Financial Impact
This contract will be funded in full by funds allocated for Fair Housing Education and Outreach through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
