body
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract No. 2016-0330) with Hethcoat & Davis for the Holiday Court Pump Station Upgrade Project.
Background
The existing pump station was installed in the 1960s and is in desperate need of an upgrade. This upgrade will include a new wet well, valve vault, flow meter and emergency pump connection. No building will be included as the station will remain configured as a stand alone station with external mounted control panel and telemetry equipment.
Amendment No. 1 for the project was approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on April 11, 2017, to design replacement of the existing force main.
The BOMA approved Amendment No. 2 to modify the tie-in for the force main in North Royal Oaks Boulevard and to provide 4 (four) temporary easement documents, an opinion of cost and record drawings.
Amendment No. 3 is for addressing site access requirements on the plans.
Financial Impact
This amendment will increase the contract by $5,900.00.
