Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) for the Henpeck Lane Sanitary Sewer Project Construction Administration and Inspection Services with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.
Background
The City of Franklin and Williamson County Schools have entered into an agreement to extend sanitary sewer to Oak View Elementary and the proposed adjacent middle school site. The project has been awarded to Civil Constructors, LLC, and shall be completed before school opens in August 2020. To aid with the project management for this time sensitive project, the City of Franklin has requested a proposal from Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. to assist with full-time inspection services on this project.
Financial Impact
The City of Franklin is responsible for paying 50% of the construction management of Line A as show in Exhibit A in COF Contract No. 2018-0283 which will be funded from the County Facilities Tax Fund.
