Consideration of Schedule Changes for 2017 Committee Meetings

Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning possible changes in the meeting dates for the Budget & Finance Committee from October through December.
Background
The regular meeting date, which is currently established as the second Tuesday of the month, has some potential conflicts in the months ahead. It may be beneficial to change the dates of the previously scheduled meetings in the months of October, November and December.
Financial Impact
There is no financial impact.

Staff recommends moving the October meeting date to the 5th from the regularly scheduled date of the 12th along with combining the November & December meetings into a single date on November 30, at which time the audit report will be presented. The combination of the November/December meetings was approved earlier in the year.
