Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning approval by the Board to enter into a one-time contract with Drury Hotel located at 1874 W McEwen Drive.
Background
Franklin Fire Department is conducting a promotional assessment center at the Public Safety Center from 9/9 - 9/13/2019 for Lieutenant’s panel. Assessors from various fire departments outside the City of Franklin will travel to Franklin. The assessors will be accommodated at the Drury Hotel during the time they are in Franklin. City of Franklin was able to obtain a per room/per night rate of $129 with this contract.
Financial Impact
The total expenditure associated with these accommodations is $5,224.50.
