Purpose
The purpose of this contract is to establish unit pricing for the non-exclusive rental of certain uniform (garment) products and the non-exclusive rental of certain facility services products. Examples of the former include trousers and shirts worn by various employees; examples of the latter include shop towels, floor mats, dust mops and soap dispensers.
Background
Pricing under this new arrangement was established by one of the cooperative purchasing arrangements utilized by the City, namely US Communities.
Financial Impact
The City is already using Cintas for many of the products offered under the new arrangement. Pricing under this new arrangement is more advantageous to the City and would replace pricing the City has been paying.

Pursuant to authority previously granted by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Contract No. 2016-0193 has been executed by the City Administrator and is attached. Staff recommends that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen acknowledge receipt of this report of execution for the City of Contract No. 2016-0193, a non-exclusive facilities solutions agreement with Cintas Loc. No. 051.
