Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the proposed reorganization of the HR Department
Background
With the continued emphasis of integration of more and more larger scale projects being incorporated into the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, two position changes within the department are being requested in order to better handle the evolving needs of our City.
The first change is the reclassification of one HR Technician to the position of HR Generalist. The second requested change is the elimination of the one HR Technician and replacing that position with an Administrative Assistant.
Financial Impact
There will be no financial impact to the 2016-2017 budget due to vacancies within the department.

Staff recommends approval of Resolution 2017-02
