Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Resolution 2018-55.
Background
The City property, which is located at 403 and 405 Hillsboro Road, has reached an end regarding its need and usefulness to the City of Franklin. The facility is no longer safe for personnel to utilize the facility for work and/or training, and the amount of funds required for rehabilitation or refurbishment has been deemed too costly. On May 30, 2019, sealed bids were received by Facilities at City Hall and were publicly opened and read aloud for the 405 and 403 Hillsboro Road Demolition Project (COF 2018-0052). The low bidder was Renascent, Inc.
Financial Impact
Renascent, Inc. was the low bidder on the project in the amount of $30,829.16.
