Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the status of some of the City's water and sewer projects.
Project Status
A. 11th Avenue Improvements
Key Dates: Design Start - January 22, 2013; Design Completion - July 2013; Easement Acquisition Start - November 2013; Easement Acquisition Completion - January 2014; Bid Date: November 25, 2013; Construction Start - May 2014; Construction Completion - November 2014 (March 2015 for Sidewalks)
Cost: Design - $47,232.00; Construction - $679,558.00
Funding Source: Design - Water and Sewer Operating; Construction - Water & Sewer Fund
Status Update: The project is complete. A final change order will be submitted for approval at the May 2015 CIC meeting.
B. Spencer Creek Basin - South Prong Interceptor Upgrade
Key Dates: Design Start - April 23, 2013; Design Completion - June 2015*; Bid Date: Not Funded; Construction Start - Not Funded; Construction Completion - Not Funded

Cost: Design - $337,000.00; Easement - Not Funded; Construction - Not Funded
Funding Source: Design - Sewer Fund; Easements - TBD; Construction - TBD
Status Update: Design plans are currently in the works but the project will not be constructed until the monies are available from the WMD budget.
C. Charlton Green Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Key Dates: Design Start - November 12, 2013; Design Completion - March 2014; Bid Date: April 7, 2014; Construction Start - December 1, 2014; Construction Completion - March 2015
Cost: Design - $19,895.00; Easement - $3,500.00; Construction -$430,000.00
