Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the award of a construction contract for the Fieldstone Farms Pump Station No. 1 Rehabilitation and Safety Improvements Project.
 
Background
The purpose of this project is to remove the existing pump station and replace it with a new pump station.  The project has been designed and advertised for bid.  On December 11, 2014, the City of Franklin Engineering Department received and opened bids for the Fieldstone Farms Pump Station No. 1 Rehabilitation and Safety Improvement.  The low bidder was J.S. Haren Company with a bid of $1,592,000.00.  A Bid Tabulation Summary has been included, as for review.
 
Financial Impact
Construction costs of $1,592,000.00.  This project is to be funded out of Sewer Operating Funds.
