body
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) (COF Contract No. 2015-0284) with Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Inc. (BWSC) for the Development of Street Light Standards.
Background
On November 22, 2015, the City entered into a PSA (COF Contract No. 2015-0284) with BWSC for the development of street lighting standards.
Amendment No. 1 includes three (3) additional tasks: Task 1 - Examples of Lighting Design Results, Task 2 - Training for Review of Lighting Designs, and Task 3 - Incorporation of Revisions as required by Additional City Comments. See the attached Exhibit A proposal, dated December 18, 2015, from BWSC, for additional details.
Financial Impact
Amendment No. 1 results in a cost increase not-to-exceed $14,700.00. This would result in a not-to-exceed contract ceiling of $58,200. In the current FY2016 budge, the Engineering Department has $75,000.00 budgeted for Engineering Services (82540). It is anticipated that the funding for this project will come from this budget item.
