body
Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a request to deny sanitary sewer availability to 509 Franklin Road.
Background
City staff received an availability request to deny sanitary sewer to 509 Franklin Road on January 18, 2017. The request is for 1 SFUE. The property is located adjacent to the City limits and the sanitary sewer infrastructure is approximately 580 LF from the property line. To provide sanitary sewer, the property owner would need to jack and bore under Franklin Road and extend sewer from the Jackson Lake Subdivision. In the past, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen have approved these types of denial request due to the cost associated with extending infrastructure.
