Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the contract between Cardinal Tracking and the City of Franklin, Tennessee for the yearly maintenance and support agreement for the City’s handheld electronic ticket writer and backend software used by the Franklin Police Department’s Parking Enforcement Officer.
Background
A contract to be entered into by and between Cardinal Tracking, Inc. and the City of Franklin, Tennessee (Police Department). The proposed agreement establishes terms for the yearly contract for the TickeTrak base system, annual software license and customer support renewal, the TickeTrak Pocket Software annual software license and customer support renewal, the TickeTrak IT-3000 hardware warranty renewal, and the TickeTrak IT-3000 cradle warranty renewal.
Financial Impact
The City of Franklin, by way of the Franklin Police Department, must pay a yearly licensing, maintenance and customer support fee totaling $2,431.20.
