Consideration of Supplement No. 1 to the Tennessee Department of Transportation Contract No. 7911 (COF Contract No. 2012-0166) for the Sanitary Sewer Relocation Required by the I-65 Widening/Goose Creek Interchange Project (CIC 04/23/15 4-0)
body
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Supplement No. 1 to the existing contract with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) (Contract No. 7911) for the relocation of the sanitary sewer lines as required by the I-65 Widening/Goose Creek Interchange Project.
Background
The original contract was approved by the BOMA at the October 23, 2012 meeting. Due to various revisions made by TDOT the plans have been updated to reflect these changes. This has in turn caused the construction cost and engineering fee to be increased. TDOT has provided the City with their standard contract supplement for the required relocation.
Financial Impact
No additional funding is required by the City. The contract supplement will increase the eligible reimbursement amount to the City of Franklin by TDOT for work associated with the sanitary sewer line relocations for the I-65 and Goose Creek Interchange Project.
