Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a proposal from CDM Smith to continue construction administration, survey and survey evaluation to complete this project.

Background
BOMA approved the PSA for the above referenced project with CDM Smith on March 22, 2011 in an amount of $63,000 to perform construction administration services, Amendment number 1 in the amount of $15,500 was approved on April 24, 2012, Amendment number 2 in the amount of $5,000 that was approved on September 11, 2012, Amendment number 3 in the amount of $12,500 that was approved on June 25, 2013, Amendment number 4 in the amount of $26,600 was approved on October 8, 2013 and Amendment number 5 in the amount of $63,840 was approved on May 13, 2014.

Dredging of Jackson Lake is complete but the removal of the dredged material has not started. This amendment includes monies to complete a survey of the dewatering area and Geotechnical Services to determine an in-situ volume of the material removed.

Financial Impact
Amendment No. 6 to the Professional Services Agreement with CDM Smith (COF Contract No. 2011-0037) at a not-to-exceed cost of Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred Ten and 00/100 dollars ($15,410.00). New contract total becomes $201,850 ($186,440 + $15,410).
