Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning awarding the Online Training and Tracking Software Contract to KnowledgeCity.
Background
Our Occupational Health and Safety Trainer reviewed three different online training software programs to help the City track and maintain training records. Of those three programs, KnowledgeCity is the most user-friendly and cost-effective choice. This program will allow HR staff to send out training to individual’s workspaces, measure how topics have been retained, create our own training programs, disseminate information, track training attendance and training deadlines.
Financial Impact
The financial impact will be $8,811.95 per year for the next three years. In the FY2020 budget, there was funding allocated for this software.
