Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the professional service agreement for the design of the south side portion of Harlinsdale Park Irrigation System.
Background
To help maintain the grounds at Harlinsdale Farms, the Parks Department sought consulting services with Clark Irrigation Design and Consulting, Inc to design a plan for the south portion of the farm where existing structures (main barn, event lawn, multi-purpose arena, general grounds, paddocks) and events take place. The overall design will assist in the maintenance, planning and preservation of green spaces often used during special events. Currently, effluent water is onsite and this plan will provide guidance to the Landscaping Division as we install irrigation lines for the overall landscaping phasing plan internally.
Financial Impact
Total cost for the design is $6,200 which is paid through the general Parks Department budget.
