Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) to consider approval of a change order for the completion of the implementation of Kronos Workforce Central Timekeeper including upgrading to version 8.
Background
The City implemented Kronos Workforce HR in June 2015 and is currently focused on implementing Kronos Workforce Timekeeper. Kronos recently released version 8 software that offers more reporting capabilities and less technical requirements for Timekeeper. This newer version will be more convenient for employees, time approvers and IT due to their software changes and added features. After discussing with the Kronos Project Manager, it is recommended that the City upgrade to version 8 before going live with Timekeeper. Due to the required customization, additional hours are needed to complete the implementation using the latest version.
Financial Impact
This change order is in the amount of $21,450.
