Acknowledgement of Contract with Koorsen and the City of Franklin, for Fire Detection Services located at the City of Franklin Police Headquarters. (COF Contract # 2016-0366)

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) that approval was granted on behalf of the board regarding testing of Fire Alarm and Detection Services at the City of Franklin Police Headquarters with Koorsen Fire & Security in the amount of [$ 3,188.00].
Background
The City contracts with an entity to provide ongoing monitoring of fire alarm and detection services. This is also a requirement of the Police Department’s accreditation. The City has contracted for these services with Koorsen Fire & Security.
Financial Impact
The project amounted to a total cost of $ 3,188.00 and will be funded through the facilities budget.
Recommendation
Services have been rendered at this time due to the need for the Calea report.
