Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Final Reconciling Change Order to the Construction Contract (COF Contract No. 2014-0288) with Revere Control Systems, Inc. for the Water Distribution and Collection System SCADA Improvements Project.
Background
The Water Distribution and Collection System SCADA Improvements Project was awarded by the BOMA to Revere Control Systems, Inc., on September 13, 2016. The Notice-to-Proceed was dated January 18, 2017, with Substantial Completion within 260 days (October 5, 2017) and Final Completion within 350 days (January 3, 2018).
The proposed Final Reconciling Change Order details include the following:
1. Final reconciliation and balancing of all miscellaneous contract line items.
2. Summarize the task orders and balance the contingency line item.
3. Time extension for Substantial Completion of 175 days (March 29, 2018) and for Final Completion of 297 days (October 27, 2018.)
Financial Impact
The final change order represents a decrease of $116,828.98 in the original contract amount of $1,949,980.00 for a final contract amount of $1,833,151.02.
