Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the scope of service for a forthcoming professional services agreement for an evaluation of the southeastern wastewater capacity.

 

Background

A professional services agreement would include an evaluation of the additional capacity that is needed in the southeast portion of the City to accommodate the growth that is being seen by existing demands and continued annexations.

 

This scope (attached) will include:

                     Project initiation, data gathering, and evaluation

o                     Basin characterization

o                     Reclaimed water end uses

                     Pilot testing design & operation

                     Analysis of alternatives

                     Support Services

o                     Regulatory coordination

o                     Communications

o                     Project management

 

Financial Impact

The cost of this agreement is $2,822,300.00 and will be funded through the Water Management Capital Investment program.
