COF Contract No. 2019-0240, a Renewal of the Database Software CLEAR used in Criminal Investigations

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the request to renew the license for the CLEAR software.

 

Background

This is a database that is used by detectives and patrol supervisors to aid them in conducting criminal investigations by providing access to numerous data sources.

 

Financial Impact

This will have a monthly recurring cost of $633.60 and can be absorbed within the current budget.
