Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a proposed ordinance to prohibit work within the rights of way for the Cool Springs corridor beginning Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day annually.
Background
Construction activities within the Cool Springs corridor adversely impacts traffic flow, turn movement and timing during the Holiday Season. All non-essential closures shall cease during the referenced timeframe (Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day) unless otherwise approved by the City Administrator or his/her designee.
