City of Franklin Contract No. 2018-0210 for the Federal Preservation Grant for Window Restoration at Hayes House at The Park At Harlinsdale Farm

body

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning an approved grant contract with the Tennessee Historical Commission (THC) for the completion of window restoration work at the historic Hayes House at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

Background

The BOMA approved entering into a grant contract with the THC at its October 16, 2018, meeting.  Upon receipt of the signed contract, the THC asked City staff to amend the grant contract’s effective “begin date” from October 1, 2018, to December 1, 2018, so that the contract “begin date” would not be effective retroactively.  The contract “begin date” has been amended as requested.

Financial Impact

No additional financial impact is associated with this item.
