Consideration of 2019 Meeting Schedule

Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the members of the Budget & Finance Committee concerning the meeting schedule for 2019.
Background
The Budget & Finance Committee normally meets on the second Thursday of the month with the exception of July (no meeting) and November/December (combined meeting). In recent years, the October meeting has been moved to accommodate Finance staff who are participating in the Tennessee Government Finance Officer’s Fall Conference (“TGFOA”) in Murfreesboro. For 2019, the March meeting coincides with TGFOA’s Spring Conference and we request consideration of an alternate date as well. Please find attached a list of proposed 2019 meeting dates in accordance with these aforementioned changes.
The committee meets at 2:00pm, with budget meetings starting an hour earlier at 1:00pm.
