Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to notify and provide information to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) regarding the sponsorship agreement approved on behalf of BOMA between the City of Franklin and MTEMC.
Background
The City entered into an agreement with MTEMC for sponsorship of the 2018 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. MTEMC is the presenting sponsor of the event and will receive, among other recognitions, their logo on the City’s website and all promotional material; event promotion on the City’s social media; a presence on the Square during the event; video clip to air during the event; and mention in all news releases. Other items received in exchange for the sponsorship are listed on the attached agreement.
Financial Impact
The City will receive $10,000.
