COF Contract 2010-0045 Amendment 4 with Infor Public Sector, Inc. for Multiyear support commitment

Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning amendment to contract number 2010-0045 with Infor Public Sector, Inc to extend our 1-year support contract to a 3-year support contract.
Background
We have been using Infor Public Sector software since 2010, with renewing the support and maintenance contract yearly. With that model, the support price is able to increase yearly. With the multiyear support commitment, we are able to lock in the support cost for three years. This allows us to control the increase of the support and maintenance and better forecast budgeting needs over the next three years.
Financial Impact
The total cost of this amendment is $554,973.99, paid over a 3-year period.
