Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the rental agreement for The Factory at Franklin. The partnership between the City of Franklin and The Factory at Franklin will allow the Human Resources Department to expand and have more vendors and City employees at our annual Health and Safety Fair.
Background
This will be the third year we have had our annual Health and Safety Fair at The Factory at Franklin. Having the event at The Factory allows us flexibility on the number of vendors we can invite and it allows many employees to go through the event at any given time. This location is near City Hall and outlying departments which is convenient for employees to attend. There is a large enough parking area that will hold all the vendors and our employees.
Financial Impact
The total rental agreement amount was for two thousand four-hundred dollars and no/dollars ($2,400.00).
