Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract No. 2017-0046) with Boozer and Company, P.C. for the Franklin Road Improvements EPA Appraisal in the amount of $3,500

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning COF Contract No. 2017-0046.
Background
As part of the Franklin Road Project (Cumberland Park Drive to Concord Rd) the City was obligated to acquire the right-of-way within the City of Franklin limits. The City is the property owner of the Dry Branch Water Quality Wetlands located at the corner of Franklin Road and Moores Lane. This property was purchased using Federal Funds. The City was required to have an appraisal completed and pay back the federal funding for the property dedicated to the State of TN. This professional services agreement helped the City determine the fair market value.
Financial Impact
The cost associated with this professional services agreement was $3,500.
