Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a staffing agreement with Express Employment Professionals to provide traditional temporary/contract staffing for the Sanitation and Environmental Services (SES) department and other departments, as needed.
Background
Express Employment Professionals will provide the City with temporary staffing for industrial/skilled positions. The City has seen a significant decline in applicants for various positions within our SES department and would find it beneficial to hire on a temporary basis. Express Employment Professionals offers an evaluation hire program designed to provide the City with associates on a trial basis prior to converting them to our payroll.
Financial Impact
This contract for the use of temporary staffing will be billed at a rate of $19.89 - $21.42/hour.
